Education
The CED has over the years been involved in both Master's and doctoral programmes at Lund University and internationally. The CED has also arranged a number of research courses in which PhD-students with interests in demography has participated. Doctoral programmes at Lund University, which welcome students focusing on demography, include economic history, economics, social medicine, social work and statistics. Members of the CED have further been involved as coordinator and teachers on the Master's programe in Economic Demography, which started in 2005 (nowadays given under the name Master's Programme in Economic Growth, Population and Development). That programme received the highest mark by the Swedish National Agency for Higher Education in several assessments and has been highly rated throuought the last decade. At international level, the CED has been involved both in DEMODOC and the European Doctoral School of Demography (EDSD). The latter was hosted by CED and located to Lund University between 2009 and 2011.
